Lath saw a season-high 21 minutes off the bench, accumulating six rebounds but failing to score on just one shot from the field. The freshman big man saw some extra run due to the nature of the game. With Iowa State taking command of the game early, Houston was quick to call off the dogs, with Lath playing many of the minutes typically reserved for J'Wan Roberts, who entered the game questionable with a knee injury. If Roberts remains limited once the NCAA Tournament starts next week, Lath will be ready to contribute more than the 4.1 minutes he averaged throughout the season.
