Gibson will be able to compete right away for Eastern Illinois and will have up to two years of eligibility at his disposal. As a sophomore at Mount St. Mary's in 2022-23, the 6-foot-4 guard averaged 3.5 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 13.2 minutes per game over 29 appearances.
