Gameday Injuries: Week 12

Gameday Injuries: Week 12

This column is meant to offer our best predictions on what players will/will not play, as of 8 AM ET on Sunday. For the official active/inactive reports, please see our Latest NFL Player News.

We have an interesting injury landscape In Week 12, as there are no quarterbacks carrying designations. The running back group is fairly light on potential absences as well, although there are a couple of big names on that list. However, the wide receivers have plenty of walking wounded heading into gameday, with the Giants and Titans set to be particularly short-handed. Without further ado, let's look at the latest as of early Sunday morning:

QUARTERBACKS

The Jets' Zach Wilson (knee) is off the injury report after recovering from his PCL sprain and will start Sunday's contest against the Texans. Wilson had shown some signs of improvement in his last two full games before his four-game absence, throwing for 489 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions against the Titans and Falcons, respectively. With Joe Flacco and Mike White both on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Josh Johnson will serve as Wilson's backup versus Houston.

RUNNING BACKS

The Packers' Aaron Jones (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams after practicing in limited fashion all week. As per early Sunday reports, Jones is pushing to play but Green Bay is considering holding him out with a Week 13 bye on tap, and his status will come down to how he looks in pregame

With Julio Jones (hamstring) also on IR, Tennessee's receiver corps will be headlined by Chester Rogers, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and rookie Dez Fitzpatrick for the foreseeable future.

The Jets' Corey Davis (groin) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Texans after sandwiching a pair of limited practices around a missed Thursday session this week.
