Neal will undergo surgery to repair a fractured ankle, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Neal had been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain in his left ankle and hasn't played since Week 9 against the Raiders. He was recently placed on season-ending injured reserve and will likely spend the first part of the offseason rehabbing. Tyre Phillips has been making starts at right tackle for the Giants.

ANALYSIS
Neal is one of the most popular No.1 overall selections in mock drafts this year and may have the highest ceiling of any prospect in the draft. Coming out of Alabama as just a junior, Neal's size, athleticism and ability to play either tackle position for the Jaguars, who need help along the offensive line, has been emphasised by Zierlein.
