Sharangovich, who is a pending restricted free agent, recorded 13 goals and 30 points in 75 games during the 2022-23 campaign. According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, trade talks involving Sharangovich have picked up recently and "someone told me don't be surprised if you see something here."

Sharangovich was one of New Jersey's few bright spots two seasons ago, posting 16 goals and 30 points in 54 games in his rookie campaign. He took another step forward in 2021-22, upping those totals to 24 goals and 46 points in 76 contests. Sharangovich can really shoot the puck and would seem like an ideal candidate to fill a role on New Jersey's top power-play unit, but the club gave him just 1:13 of ice time per game with the man advantage a season ago. That number appears unlikely to rise given the additions of Ondrej Palat and Erik Haula this offseason, ultimately limiting Sharangovich's appeal from a fantasy perspective.
