Hoying was brought in by the eventual champions in the middle of the season after the team cut ties with Zoilo Almonte. While the Wiz did go on to claim the title, Hoying wasn't a major contributor, hitting .237/.310/.412 in 69 games. The Wiz have already signed his replacement, bringing in Henry Ramos, who made his major-league debut for the Diamondbacks in September.
